Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice

Resolutions, speeches, and debates are all symbolic of senses within HIAMUN that help apprehend and perceive the conference as a whole. Therefore, the theme perceptions is necessary within HIAMUN and will strengthen the conference drastically. The CCPCJ, a forum that has not been in HIAMUN for four years, tackles problems regarding crimes and criminal justice. This forum has a history within HIAMUN of being competitive and heated. Our primary goal is to revive the CCPCJ through the creation of a heated atmosphere that is also both entertaining and interesting.

The first topic that will be discussed is “Settling Measures to Limit the Illicit Trade of Firearms and Ammunition.” Another topic debated is “Addressing the Issue of the Smuggling of Migrants.” The final topic within the CCPCJ is “Implementing a Framework to Prevent and Counter Terrorismrorism.” All these conflicts have one thing in common: the fact that they can be perceived differently. Seeing as the theme itself is perceptions, this is crucial. Meaning all delegations will perceive different stances and will end up coming up with resolutions that merge the different stances present within each topic.

With the help of my most esteemed chair, Jana Ahmed, who is talented, dedicated, and devoted, we will both advise and direct the delegates in order to come up with the best possible results within the HIAMUN 24 conference. We are looking forward to seeing you all!
